Had an interesting one the other week , ball carrier was running and tackled low as a team mate tackled high

as the 2nd tackler hit high the ball was momentarily let go by the ball carrier and after talking to my co-ordinator the correct call was knock on even if the ball did not hit te ground but was grabbed by the2nd tackler . By high I don't mean head high , just top tackler .

Sounds like fair play to me. Is it not the responsibility of the ball-carrier to make sure he looks after the ball?
