Lions announce squad - SCW has also (apparently) announced that no-one in Tuesday's line-up will play in the first test - asking one key question - who on Earth's going to play 12?
British and Irish Lions:
15. Murphy
14. Cueto
13. Smith
12. Henson
11. Hickie
10. O'Gara
9. Cooper
1. Stevens
2. Titterell
3. Hayes
4. Shaw
5. O'Callaghan
6. Moody
7. Williams
8. Owen
Replacements: Bulloch, Sheridan, Easterby, Cusiter, Hodgson, Shanklin, D'Arcy
That, in my opinion is a woefully weak team (understandable if SCW is correct that no-one will play v Southland and NZ this weekend).
The front-row is exceptionally weak - Titterell is an excellent running hooker - but he needs two strong props, OK, Stevens is pretty good in the tight, but Hayes has been a liability - absolutely dreadful ever-since the Argentina game.
Back three could work quite well, especially if Murphy works as the link man like he can, and the centres are quite strond (why isn't Henson in the test side? D'Arcy and Greenwood haven't performed).
I'll still go for a Lions win, but it'll be tight - Lions by 11.
