Nice short article in Sunday times about a referee on exchange in US rescued from superdome(?) by Texas referees following internet plea from his father. Congrats to all involved.

Adam's dad Terry payed an appropriate tribute to all concerned when addressing a recent South West group meeting.

Puts it all in perspective. What a great fraternity we have the privilege of belonging to.

From what I understand, a referee/s from the Texas Referees Society found Adam in N Orleans and he is now staying in Dallas with a referee called R Campbell, I think, who himself has been on exchange in England a few times.

It just goes to show what huge comradarie (probably splet rwong) there is all over the world between referees. Top stuff. :)

Has he headed back to England yet, or is he sticking around over here for a bit longer?

If he wanted to see the North East I'm certain we could find him some matches to cover in New England.
