  • 2013 RFU President's XV Recognition award for Better Referees

RugbyRefs.com is please to announce that Chelmsford RFC Referee Association, headed up by RugbyRefs.com member Dave Clark, have been chosen as the winner of the 2013 RFU President's Recognition Award for Better

Chelmsford RFC managed to win the award over fierce competition from the Eastern Counties, and are a model of how a club can develop match officials from within.

Dave Clark, who has been a member of RugbyRefs.com for over six years, was very pleased with the award, and will be looking to build on the official recognition from the national governing body next season. As winners the RFC will present the club with a Trophy and 500 to reinvest into the section.

From all at RugbyRefs.com, Well done Chelmsford RFC, & especially Dave Clark & his team's efforts. Long may they be appreciated.

Had a game where: Team-A brought ball into their own in-goal and made a kick which was charged down by Team-B player outside of in-goal (ball flew outside of in-goal and return back) and become dead by crossing dead ball line. 2 scenarios by my opinion (my situation - bold): Ball left...
