  • Rugby World Cup Fantasy & Prediction Contest

    RugbyRefs.com is delighted to offer you the chance to compete against each other on two competitions for the Rugby World Cup.

    We have a Prediction Comp, for predicting Match winners & margins, and a Fantasy comp for those who are a little more into their rugby, to see if they can manage their perfect team.

    The two comps are hosted by SuperBru and are open to RugbyRefs.com people on all utilised platforms (website, Facebook & Twitter).

    You have 13 days to get your selection in for the first round, and to select your ultimate team for the Fantasy competition.

    The competition is free for all to enter, there are currently no prizes, but those of us running the site will see what we can get.

    Argentina v wales . 10 mins into game blue 15 attempts to catch a kick outside red try line . He fumbles catch & knocks ball on . The ball lands in red in goal & red 15 touches ball down & makes it dead . Red team ask ref ( jaco ) if they can have a 22 kick out . Ref says no ,,its your scrum...

    Are the french more forgiving?

I think I have the basis for a solution that keeps the discipline, keeps the sanctions for the really serious offenders, but allows the referees more latitude in dealing with infringers fairly.
