Re: Where are you this weekend? 2014/15

This week should be a good one, the same ground twice (which should be the mecca of rugby) :)

Wednesday - RFU AASE game at Kingston park
Sat - L6 game in yorkshire (the downside to the week :) )...

Re: Sale v Leicester Yellow Card?

Dixie, that is not punching a player is it? For **** sake its not difficult, if you punch someone you are off and thats the RFUs stance also.

    Can you prevent cynical play?

Maybe, maybe the teams are better disciplined, maybe he misses lots, perhaps his tolerance for deliberate offences are higher? Who knows.

Another Yorkshire level game at Cleckheaton.

So lots of incomprehensible noise from the crowd, about onsides, because there speed of senses are reduced due to the alcohol levels.

    Re: YC per game

no more than 6 cynical or 'red zone' offences in 23 games, must be a cracking standard of discipline.

Re: Sale v Leicester Yellow Card?

    That is not a punch.

If you punch anyone during a game I am refereeing, you will be sent off. If people dont like that stance they have a chance not to appoint me.

    Re: YC per game

Most of them are for cynical play or repeat infringements.

All from L5 games (apart from 1 Womens Premiership, 1 level 4 game and a level 10 ).

So you feel assault and battery have a place on the rugby pitch?

It would be interesting report wondering why a red card for any punch would be wrong?
