  1. [Law] Re: Hand Off or Fend to the face/head/neck

If it is illecgal to make contact with the head, it should apply to both sides. A fend / hand off could easily cause concussion with a head being i]jarred backwards.

The laws are an ass in this...

HIA and blood are "Special cases".

They are forced replacements, for very good reasons. You don't want a HIA being clattered into with play continuing just as you don't want a player with a...

[INTERNATIONAL] Re: Biggar on Itoje, Owens on Heinz

    Bigger already being discussed elsewhere.

Owens Looks illegal but another angle required to determine the degree.

Left arm contacts face. Reckless with intent. I'm ook for reasons to scale down to YC. Not sure I see many.

[Law] Re: When to make the mark

That said, if I've called time off. I am going to manage the game and not call time on until players leaving the field of play have done so. Or at least they are within a step or two and well away...

[Law] Re: When to make the mark

Firstly I'd say there is no Quickly taken kick. Time has been called off and back on again. During that time there is plenty of time to marshal you defence. Only the Player being carded and the...

    [Tackle] Re: RSA vs Africa

    Two issues for me:

    1:
A player diving to score must be "fair game" to a legitimate tackle.

    2:

A player trying to make a "legitimte tackle must not be reckless in trying to achieve it. If...

    Pollitically correct???? WTF

And you are clearly accusing the TMO of cheating. Unacceptable on here!

[QUOTE=Arabcheif;361558]I really don't know how your not seeing it thb?? I don't think there's an obstruction as the timing is acceptable for a legal tackle to be completed. Both players are moving...
  14. [INTERNATIONAL] Re: Kurtley beale - lucky to stay on the field?

Perhaps the important points are these:

People agree there was contact shoulder to head. So PK

People disagree as to whether it was intentional.

Some feel that it warrants a Red card

[Tackle] Re: Tackling when feet are off the ground

For me If I think thr tackler has jumped to cause the tackle to become "illegal", I will not ping the tackler. Rather I will tell the tackled player that I'm not buying his gamesmanship and if h does...

I've never quite understood the "held up ingoal" thing. Elsewhere if you are held up it is "TURNOVER". If you put the ball in goal and it is made dead. (other than scoring) it is turnover ball. Why...

    Re: Samoa v USA

Not relevant. A Compulsory card is rarely stated as a sanction. The sanction is a PK. That may be cacked up wit ha "word" a YC or a RC.
  23. Re: 2 new laws for NRC at the end of August

    Keep it simple.

Attacking team take the ball in = Drop out 22.

Defending team take it in = 5 Scrum 5 attacking side puts in.

Consitency with ball grounded / made dead scenarios.
