    [Ruck] Re: Advantage

I can't think of a better example of not surviving the clean out.

vimpe22 - remember we want the jackler to be in a position of strength (feet under hips and weight on their feet) if they are in...

The blue one is their training jersey. They have a white one for their change jersey.

    Re: Ref watch..

I've got a Garmin Fenix 3HR and it's brilliant, does everything I need it to do and more, plus you can set it to countdown if you want but it will vibrate when time is up for you.

    [7's/10's] Re: Sevens positioning

A line positioning like in 15s, ball line running if you can. Don't go inside the 15m lines though.

Re: Quick Line out (not quick throw in)

2 players along the line of touch. For a quick lineout if there isn't a player in the channel then just play a quick FK advantage, ball gets the to backs is advantage over, no need to stop a team...

Re: Quick Line out (not quick throw in)

I'd agree for the first lineout of the match to each team (so first red throw and first black throw) but after that I am not going to call back a team for employing a quick line out if they want to...

Yeah, nah. Not a big issue for me, just play on and get on with the game.

    [RWC] Re: Referee Rankings

A French website is saying all 4 of the French referees who did games in the 6N are heading to the world cup. RFU tweeted that Barnes, Pearce and Carley are going as well. Take the report saying...

I would just tell them if they want the PK to communicate it to me at their easiest time.

    [Law] Re: Quiz # 7 (of 10)

    B - scrum white.

I remember the RWC in 03 being played in Oz. One of the grounds has a roof and they stipulated that if the ball hit the roof it was scrum to the kicking side so I am going with...

Nope, it's a scrum for an incorrectly taken PK.

    [RWC] Re: Referee Rankings

Yeah it was, massive hole created after the Wales player took out a defender who wasn't bound in the ruck.
  17. [Law] Re: How long before kick off should one arrive at the club ?

90 minutes for me. 30 minutes to just chill out and talk shit with people, then 60 minutes to do the usual pre-match stuff.

    [Maul] Re: unsuccessful maul restart

I believe any kick that starts, or restarts the game, there is a turnover IIRC, but it's been a while since I've read the specific law.

    [Law] Re: Inadvertent touch down

I honestly don't understand how this has gone on for as long as it has, sometimes the easiest answer is the right one. The ball was grounded by the defender, 5m scrum.

If there was a tackle close...
  20. Re: Why do I keep tearing my calf muscle ? Any advice ?

I more meant that for me there is enough of a dark colour for one of them to be called 'black', however I would try to stay clear of the colour 'blue' in comms so I would call the other team 'white.
