I have no idea. What I do know is that improvement isn't necessarily driven out of complaints.

    Re: women's rugby

It seems to have encouraged enough discussion to warrant a look. And if it needs fixing, the fix is very easy to implement.

Re: 22 Drop Out - Not taken properly

what's interesting for me in this sceanario is the concept of 'intent'.

If the Red captain had intended to take the drop out then an opposition scrum would be justified.

    However it appears that...

[Tackle] Re: Pulling through at the tackle

Totally agree. As a bit of a tangent, what often happens in this situation (unfortunately) is Blue player then gets pinged for going off feet at breakdown.

    Re: women's rugby

certainly. All stakeholders should be welcome to have input. Why would that be in doubt?

I suspect that the line in the sand will be deciding what's "best for the game". We don't want to be...

    Re: women's rugby

IMO smaller hands would deal better with a smaller ball. It would be an interesting study to see what the impact was on number of knock ons

[Junior] Re: Role of the captain in schoolboy rugby?

when I do my PMB I specifically ask for the captain, introduce myself to him/her and ask him/her to get the boys/girls in a line for stud check, etc. I purposely avoid dealing with the coach.

    This...

[Line out] Re: Offside by QTI

    note law 6.9:

The referee will deem the ball to be dead when:
The ball is in touch or touch in-goal.
  19. [In-goal] Re: Kicking the ball dead in-goal when the defenidng side has taken it back

One for the historians. It used to be the case that the 5m scrum was set in line with where the ball crossed the goal line. Now it as per post #2

    [Law] Re: Incorrectly taken penalty.

I think a closer analogy would be if they attempted a restart but missed the ball completely. In which case, I would allow a retake.
