    [Junior] Re: Appointment

As a coach of U16 age groups in recent years...

lots of good advice above !

    * DO treat it as a real game
    * DO NOT back off cos "its only kids"
    * DO bone up on the U16 regs/laws (and I see you...

    Re: U12 regs and jackling

From what you've written and in the basic development of play remit that we coach to in grass roots age group rugby Id suggest that yes - jackling is in effect prohibited - presumably in the...

    Re: Wales quickly taken PK...

i suppose the issue there is its another way to slow the pace of the game right down by a player needing a cart instead of walking 15m to a touchline. But I dont disagree as a general rule.

    [Tackle] Re: RSA vs Africa

wrt how to tackle a player in the air in the act of scoring (I think thjat is what you meant) the usual answer is "dont get yourself in that defending position"

[INTERNATIONAL] Re: Kurtley beale - lucky to stay on the field?

do I need an exact example for it to be so? We've discussed this before ad nauseum - it IS what would happen. The fact that as yet it hasn't is no indication that it in theory cant. This forum is...

    [Law] Re: Placer Question

or is this just one of those messy laws where the law writer never ever envisaged that anybody BUT a player would hold the ball, because in 1897 (or whenever!) when the law was written there were no...

[INTERNATIONAL] Re: Kurtley beale - lucky to stay on the field?
