    Re: booing & Barbarians

There's a strong section of Boozed up "theatre going" idiots who think it acceptable. I've heard booing and jeers from Lansdown Road for GSTQ too. So I'd be careful with the snide comments. From...

In context? Not sure I see that.

    Re: booing & Barbarians

Not sure of your point. The Scottish anthem is theirs alone. GSTQ is foisted up up the Scots and is anti Scot. The difference is very obvious.

    100% agree with that part.

    Re: booing & Barbarians

GST king / queen is anti Scottish. It has always been about the English empire. The English are welcome it it and it's dirge of a tune.

I'd never boo an anthem. I just respect those of whom it belongs to, in silence.

    Re: booing & Barbarians

Agreed. It is an anglo-centric anthem. The English can have it and the Cross of St George (always makes me laugh to think of Nigel Fartage saluting the flag of a foreigner).

    Re: booing & Barbarians

The first tour was to Hartlepool (winning) and Bradford (a draw), but their "home" has, for a long time, been considered to be the Esplanade Hotel in Penarth, South Wales.

    [Tackle] Re: Open play, non-maul

Where is the ball? At the front (could be construde a Flying wedge) or back (obstrution) of the formation? is the "tackle" on the ball carrier or not (if the latter that is illegal)? We need more...

[Law] Re: Law 12.6 Kick off

Well yes, the receiving team may accept the kick. In your scenario, they did not.

There are many thing the laws does not specifically say are allowed to happen. Laws tend to focus on what MUST or MUST NOT happen.

[Law] Re: Law 12.6 Kick off

THe referee was correct. The ball must reach the line (although the receiving side can "accept" a short kick). It did. Play on. It can be a good tactic to "grubber" the drop kick, depending on...

[Law] Re: captain asking not to play advantage

That is correct. As stated I am not sure if it can from wR or just the WRU. If it is the second it would not apply outside Wales.

I'm not in England. So you may not have had a similar directive. Hense the very deliberate use of "WE". I remember it coming in when 9s, in particular, were dropping the ball and then tapping and...

    [Law] Re: Offside oddities #3
