Re: Where are you this weekend - 2019-20

This weekend - assuming I can shake off this cold.

    Yorkshire 1 - Level 7

Old Brodleians (Halifax) v West Leeds

    2nd v 4th

Brods undefeated thus far. WL relegated from N1E last season.
  2. Re: Do you walk through the tunnel after the game?

Usually the home team will form the tunnel. The away team will walk through. I will wait whilst applauding the away team through. Then the home team will or won't invite we through. If they do, I do....
  3. [Maul] Re: Question on driving maul at a lineout ??

As I read it Clarification 9 from 2006 is not the same and makes no mention of a scrum for accidental offside as the "clarification" from 2014 does.

  6. [Maul] Re: Question on driving maul at a lineout ??

    Sorry to revive this.

Home team conceded 2 tries today trying to not compete at a 5m to oppos.

First one, red catch transfer and don't move, green don't engage. I call "use it". They do, break...

    Re: Coin Toss

    Last coin toss.

Home Captain gets coin - my 1932 Half Crown - looks at it, and then looks at me like I've passed him a radio-active turd.

Asks me who that (George V) is.

    Tosses coin. Away...

Re: Where are you this weekend - 2019-20

This weekend - it's grim up North.

    D&N 1 - L7 (well they say it is) :)

    Acklam (Middlesbrough) v Novocastrians (Newcastle-u-Tyne)

First trip to Acklam since they've had their balcony added...

    Re: Conflicts of interest

I've reached grounds to be met with "you should've come on the bus with us" when I met up with the away team - I've never taken up an offer to do so although I've never been asked before I set off....

    Horses for courses.

Slow it down too much and the fat f***ers can't keep steady.

[RWC] Re: The woes of the scrum

    I'm unlucky if I I have 2 collapsed/reset scrums per game.

It just doesn't happen at weedy levels. I'm not sure what you're describing. The teams are supposed to come together on set.

    Re: Biggar “Tackle” on Vakatawa

It was. JL picked up a shitty bounced pass that went behind him from Little/Bunce? Then from nearly a standing start ran round TU, WC and over MC as I recall.

Re: Where are you this weekend - 2019-20

Ironically - me and junior got stuck on M1 due to a fatal RTC and after a few calls to ARs got to Huddersfield at 15h10 for a 15h00 KO.

Teams had agreed to delay 'til 15h15. He got changed in the...

    Re: Spitting - Red Card?

I think you could go with 9.12 or 9.27

Try both? Try whatever has the highest TE sanction? Or leave it to the DP.

As soon as you get to the gob and challenging everyone to a fight the DP will...
