At the end of the first half Aus took a PK.
When the ball was struck the clock was well into the Red .. about 40:15 .

    Why did they restart ?

    I agree
Put those games on in the same cities as the Cup games (smaller stadiums, same cities) and I reckon the traveling fans would pack them out .. and we'd have good TV audiences as well . I...

Re: RWC 2019 Japan - HIA

    Exactly
Laat Wednesday Biggar took more than one blow to the head, the last one knocking him unconscious.

In a grass roots club I do not think they would be playing him on Sunday

What if all the 3rd and 4th place teams, instead of going home, were now playing QF SF and Final in a World Bowl ?

Games would be midweek Wed and Thu, preceding the equivalent Cup games on the...

You said that PI "fail to grasp the difference"

    That's an unwelcome stereotype

If you are doubling down on that I think you are crossing a mark.

Re: So, about this framework then...

    Indeed.
It's a tricky balance to get, and you can never know what the effect of any change will be until you try it .

Perhaps we could ban offloads from the ball carrier after they have hit the...

she probably thinks like Eddie Jones, and expected Aus to attack down Ford's channel, hence dropping him for that game?

Re: End of Game - Did I get it Right?

I once had a coach shouting all sorts at me because I didn't stop the game for a "serious head injury"

Re: So, about this framework then...

so Law and convention changes that might drive that would be
    - change the turnover Law, so that there is no longer an incentive to create a maul instead of a tackle
    - ref the breakdown so that it...

Re: So, about this framework then...

it has crossed everyone's mind that Owen Farrell is at risk of a card this RWC.. especially if he's rattled.

[Law] Re: Penalty Kick at Goal Rules
