Re: Where are you this weekend - 2019-20

Bugger! Just seen the weather forecast - Storm Dennis - 50mph wind and pissing down incessantly, all on a pitch going up into the Peak District with no trees for miles around.

    Although as my wife...

[Kit] Re: ASICS Gel boots in the UK

I bought an extra pair of these from Lovell for 45 about a year ago - too good a deal to pass up even though I have a pair I still use. They're not on their website anymore. They're size 9 otherwise...

Re: Where are you this weekend - 2019-20

I did Redcar when they were in D&N 1 - against Guisborough!

    That was fun!

Re: Just for a bit of fun

Grape Lane in York's former name is a bit worse than just Grope Lane!

    I'll say no more

Lots of mediaeval towns and cities had one.

A bit like Canal View near us where the "C" keeps mysteriously being painted out in white paint! :)

Re: Just for a bit of fun

There was a Butthole Road in Conisborough near Doncaster however locals got it changed as they got sick of folk with phones stopping to photograph it etc.

Pity. It always made me laugh as I drove...

The instructions for the Kallax book shelves might be missing.
  15. [Law] Re: Is there a definition of a kicking tee?

I seem remember the LotG says or used to say tee must be "approved by the Union".

I would not be fussed at two training cones.

I recall (when you could kick off and restart with a place kick)...
  16. [CLUB RUGBY] Re: Saracens breaching salary cap, yet again.

I was more surprised they got the choice rather than the fait accompli.
  17. [CLUB RUGBY] Re: Saracens breaching salary cap, yet again.

You can have relegation or we'll have a good look at your books!

    Erm …..relegation please.

    WTF???

I hope them, their fezzes and their stupid finger wiggling enjoy their day out at Clifton...

I saw high leg boots and was disappointed when I actually read the thread!
  19. [CLUB RUGBY] Re: Saracens breaching salary cap, yet again.

What about redistribution of their titles a la Lance Armstrong?

Although I think LA was stripped of them and no one else was given them in the case of the TdF
  20. [Golden Oldies] Re: Reports on Referee post-game on WhosTheRef

    Welcome to the forum.

I wouldn't worry too much about the report from the loser.

Tyrrells Premier games are, as outlined above, invariably refereed by RFU appointees usually NP @ Level 3-4. My...

  24. [Line out] Re: Saracens vs Munster European Rugby Champions Cup

[Law] Re: Referees using player's names
