    Re: RWC 2019 cancellations

There is such an outcry I think we may not have heard the last of it.

    Re: RWC 2019 cancellations

I really think WR should rethink this and reschedule the games for Monday, behind closed doors if required. If England or New Zealand go on to win, we will never know if it was beacuse of the extra...

    [Kit] Re: Neoprene lifting supports

Banning lifting in the lineout might well reduce tight five weight and alleviate the head injury issue. Just saying.

Re: Should the game clock be reset?

The cynic in me saw the introduction of water breaks as a precursor to an ad break at 20 mins 😅

    Hoggy's Monster Drop Goal

If you look carefully it hits the spidercam wire on the way in. And we all know what that means don't we! :)

[RWC] Re: RSA vs ITA - Uncontested Scrums?

Barnsey's having a good tour so far. I'd prefer to see Nigel get the final but I think its more likely to be WB or Pascal.

Re: [RWC] Italy vs RSA Tackle RC

Mu suspicion that WR have told refs to go easy on the field and let the citing commissioners deal with them is growing..

Well following my second trip to Ospreys land in a fortnight (local derby Abercraf v Seven Sisters this time) I have a week off, because I'm working.

    Re: Rugby is officially dead

Tiger Craig - If you read the forums you will see that most assertions are reasonably argued and backed up with facts and law references. Your posts stand out as being baseless and emotional rants. ...

[Tackle] Re: Russia vs Samoa - High Tackle Yellows

Both red according to the flowchart. The second one was particularly clear cut.

My guess is the refs have been urged to err on the side of caution and let the citing commissioner sort it out -...
  12. [Maul] Re: Wales v Georgia - penalty try not given from collapsed maul

It was quite possible it would have been held up but, equally, it was quiye probable a try would have been scored. A 50/50 decision in my eyes and I don't fall out with LP's decision.

    [Law] Re: Unsporting Conduct Question.

There's an assumption here that it was the crowd noise that led to the rekick - it may have been something else like an early charge and the referee acted coincidentally to curtail abusive language...

    Re: U12 regs and jackling

It's allowed in Wales from U10 upwards:

"After the tackle one player from each team can contest for the ball, this can be any player involved in the tackle or another arriving player"

It's not a maul so open play - either play on or penalty for obstruction depending on the specific situation.
