    [In-goal] Re: Touch in goal

you could make an argument that scrum is to team last moving forward but if the defender has dicked around so long that he ends up being held up, then I'm going with the 21.17 crew.

    Interestingly,...

    [In-goal] Re: Touch in goal

    [In-goal] Re: Touch in goal

No. If the attacking team put ball into in-goal it will never be an attacking scrum, no matter how much messing around the defenders do.
  6. [Law] Re: Time up or restart. Conversion over end of game time

    [In-goal] Re: Touch in goal

If the attacking team put the ball into defender's in-goal and the ball is made dead by defenders it is always a 22 drop out (except if it was a restart (aka kick off) and the defender make the ball...

[Law] Re: Mark from a penalty

here's a new improved version for you:

"If it must go 10, either drop kick or punt,
If you award a mark, then you are a ... poor referee."

Of course, you're forgetting that a 22 drop out must...

[Law] Re: Mark from a penalty

yes it is. You're using a mnemonic that has exceptions. All well & good if it helps you, but I wouldn't be selling it as a panacea.
