  1. [INTERNATIONAL] Re: Kurtley beale - lucky to stay on the field?

I didn't see a lot in the KB clash although I've decided Goodhue deserved a crack in the head for that haircut.

[Law] Re: Kick-off not reaching 10m Line.

The captain/players don't know the options available so say scrum be default.

A (thick) prop shouts scrum because that's what he likes.

or perhaps if it's so windy...

    Re: Vanishing Foam

Nic Berry could have made a mark with his bottle of spray tan he carries with him.

Where I've noticed it I've asked players to take it from the mark. Happens with kicks to touch but where it's...

    Re: RIP James Small

    Very sad indeed.

John Bentley was showing my lad's Rugby Team (U10s?) around Headingley (as they were playing in halftime things during a Leeds Tykes...

    Re: Ref watch..

I've got a Spintso. It's ok - bit bulky - but does a job. Eats batteries but I signed up for lifetime replacement from Timpson's so I've more than recouped my money on that score.

    It's a...
  16. [Junior] Re: World Rugby U20 Championship 2019 in Argentina

Good job it doesn't apply to Elite Senior Rugby - Leigh Halfpenny would spend half his life at the tribunals, in between his visits to the Neurology Specialist and the MRI Scanner.

    [7's/10's] Re: First 7's Games

    Are you off to Olney?

I tend to just referee between the 15s as, as mentioned above, you generally get a good view of everything as there's fewer players.

I will often take up a RL sort of...
  18. [Law] Re: Mark awarded, player permitted to pass rather than kick

    Is it Nic Berry?

I always thinks he spends too much time shaving his legs.

Bit less razor, bit more law book methinks.

[Assistant Referees] Re: Spitting on ball.

    Really????

I used to spit on my hands to make them sticky. It makes your hands sticky so the ball sticks better to your sticky hands.

Of course I had to do this in the days before some lacky...
