    Re: Henshaw on May

it looked to me like a no arms tackle, slightly late.

because it was borderline late they seemed to ignore the no arms bit

[Law] Re: Knock on into the dead ball area.

In fact rhere were multiple changes. Some of them did seem to be accidental, but many were clearly deliberate (and welcome)

See my table for a full analysis

But really who cares now. There...

Re: New Front Row logic tree

In my match today the away team turned up with no front row, so by competition rules should start with 14

The home team said b******r that, we will apply game on principles and you can start...

    [Scrum] Nigel on scrums

    Odd article from St Nige

.. he likes to see props binding on the opponents arm
.. he still tells the 9 when to put the ball in

So, by all means have a points penalty, rather than idle players on the sideline

Re: New Front Row logic tree

By all means have a penalty for going uncontested. One league I ref in its 10 points.

But not man off. It's a community game, the aim is to have as many people playing as possible.

    And...

    Re: New Score Card design

That's the best scorecard I have seen, IMO, not least because it exactly supports how I like to score .. new line for each score showing the sequence of the scores and the time. I like that

Well, if someone tells me there is a suspected head injury I am going to take that at face value.

Re: New Front Row logic tree

Phil , you are missing the point. If you go off for a *head injury* then you don't go man off, you stay at 15 uncontested
    (Refer to flow chart)

I think he does promote religious tolerance , while also evangelising. (a mainstream position)

Do you have any quotes where he is intolerant of other religions

Re: New Front Row logic tree

In the community game, wherever man off applies , I would expect that all front row players leaving the pitch for injury will be recorded as a suspected head injury, in order to maintain 15 players...
  13. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

If only it was so simple.
The IF saga is more complicated and nuanced than you allow, Ian. Which is why it continues to generate so much coverage and debate, including this long running thread which...

    Re: New Score Card design

Except that I don't think we want the steps , just what does the card look like at the end

(Because the key advantage of my layout is that you can see the steps built in !)

    Re: New Score Card design

We had a go at this in posts 13 and 14

    - looking at my scorecard the narrative and structure of the game can be seen, so it's easier to recall each try and score

    - so in case anyone checks the...

    Re: New Score Card design

I glance at my watch, and write the minute only. It takes a tiny amount of time , and worth it for me. My scorecard is (it seems to me) minimal effort for maximum clarity (see post 22) But everyone...
