  1. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

I think you have made a perfectly legitimate decision to live in USA.

How broad is this perfectly legitimate view that you speak of? What are protected characteristics? Who decided what...
  2. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

Free speech is far from a notion. It gives you the freedom to speak against any bigotry view that which you do not agree.

Who is the bigoted little man in your post, or is that a figure of...
  3. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

What path would you have chosen if you were the assigned ref to this Dragons/Tigers game, and you were aware IF would be playing?

This being a referee site and all.

    Re: women's rugby

Well perhaps the mens game would be better for players and spectators if they also used a smaller ball. The real question is what is the optimum size of balls? (intended and unaccepted)
  5. [Law] Re: Wales Italy 6N 2020; was Biggar offside?

    What for is the PK?

Please read my wise ass post carefully and identify the falsehood,

My contact in the WRU confirmed he was not penalized.

    New Front Row logic tree

    Oxymoron?
  8. [Law] Re: Wales Italy 6N 2020; was Biggar offside?

I see a extremely brief modern era ruck, ball is out of ruck ((red tackled player (who played ball post release) is not a ruck participant), offside line is hindmost foot of sole red rucking...
  9. [Law] Re: Wales Italy 6N 2020; was Biggar offside?

I think he paid very close attention to PMB and may have been the only player to do so.

I've watched this video countless times with stops and starts, PLAY ON for me.
  10. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

So Mormons are open season for hate speech, even as outlined in Crossref's post from Reg 17
  11. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

So am I to understand that mormons cannot distinguish truth from sect-like cults? Or did you post this as an example of hate speech/

Why is this relevant? Did you choose this to show us...
  12. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

The opposition better be careful not to say anything that could be hate speech.

Does that meet the definition of hate speech?, Is wigan providing a venue for possible hate speech against the...

  14. [In-goal] Re: Ball kicked through the dead ball line

Ya know before the 2018 re write, that was actually covered. Something about anything not covered by law is restarted by a scrum to team last in possession.

Can't seem to find it anymore
  15. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

Is there a limit on the number of times one can have this epiphany? just checking could it be daily, hourly, weekly, yearly or is it a one time gig.
  16. [In-goal] Re: Ball kicked through the dead ball line

Congrats to Crossref, In my peas sized brain, this thread is how I think rugbyrefs is supposed to work. I have died and gone to heaven. If there is a heaven, and I'm invited of course.

  17. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

well Wiki (a possible yet not definitive source) requires both

Hate speech is defined by Cambridge Dictionary as "public speech that expresses hate or encourages violence towards a person or group...
  18. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

I suspect that IF views put him in a minority group based on religion. Is any attack on him hate speech?

Can hate speech occur when it is against a majority group? Such as, Catholics.
  19. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

It certainly would be appropriate for Wigan to include the Dragons in celebration. Would excluding the dragons on the basis of one player then be a form of hate speech?
  20. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

He may end up getting rainbow shoelaces to wear also, since everyone should be included in the game celebrating inclusion.

Yeah..... those are possible and probably more likely than winning the lotto. But I think NO knows how unlikely this transmission would be.

An analysis of NO in this moment could reveal varied ideas, ranging from kindness to demanding. I just wouldn't call it "Not the smartest thing to do". I'd call it peculiar based on this situation.

  25. [Assistant Referees] Re: Pushed by player - my fault for being in field of play?

I have been told " no good deed goes unpunished".

Derbyram- you were placed in a bad situation, you made a decision, and you did something to try to help.

I'd like to think i would have...
