[Law] Re: Wales Italy 6N 2020; was Biggar offside?

Mine was equally a wise ass post...thought youd pick up on the multiple emoticons to show that. Seems funny you throw out a smart arse comment...get one back and now you get all pIssy....

[Law] Re: Wales Italy 6N 2020; was Biggar offside?

Invitation accepted. My contact in ARU confirmed you really are FU if you can't see that as a PK against red - even in the modern era of showbiz rugby. :nono::nono::nono::wink::wink::biggrin::biggrin:

[Law] Re: Sco v Eng - Scrum back?

They definitely have not updated the exam as there were 2 other "correct" answers that contradicted the 2020 law book. When I queried with RA (ARU) I was advised it was the 2018 test/laws and update...

[Law] Re: Sco v Eng - Scrum back?

In oz land, we don't prescribe (currently...but who knows next week) to the same offence having different sanctions. FK every time.
I just completed our online exam (For my 4 yearly reaccrediation)...

    Re: Time and injury

Perhaps, maybe, possibly the game clock on the tele was not the same as that on the referees watch! It wouldn't be the first time the TV time keeper was a bit slow to stop the clock on all the...

[Line out] Re: Offside by QTI

    Yes. For being prezacrt
Well the time from ball in touch to act of making the throw is not open play.

[Line out] Re: Offside by QTI

At the risk of pointing out the obvious again...the fact there is NO mention of offside lines in the QTI section on the LOTG (and QTI is not open play) is all the evidence you need.

    If that...

[Line out] Re: Offside by QTI

Arabchief you need to come to grips that the QTI and the lineout are different things. The only thing they have have in common as that they are forms of restarting play when the ball goes into touch....

[Line out] Re: Offside by QTI

I agree with Dickie. Once ball is in touch you can go/be wherever you like. The laws painstakenly describe offside at the lineout and once it forms....but say zip about offside on the Quick Throw. So...

[Law] Re: Penalties and keeping track of them

I'd say you identified the issue right there. It seems to be your "material effect" that you need to work on, of when to blow or when to play away, and think less about the count.

    If possible try...

[Maul] Re: Question on driving maul at a lineout ??

    LLP

This is in the Oz Game Management Guidelines:
Teams deciding not to engage the maul at lineout
    • If the defenders in the line out choose to not engage the line out drive by leaving the line...

Interestingly now players receiving a high tackle want the highest possible sanction (calling for cards) while the perportrators deny any high tackle wasn't high trying to avoid a sanction - it's a...

Re: Jap v Sco - No Red Card?!?

I'm sorry you feel it was point scoring. Rather that, I was expressing an opinion why I didn't see it as a straight red at full speed. I was also showing that's not a far fetched opinion as others...

Re: Jap v Sco - No Red Card?!?
