    If you know who stopped the try happening I would say yes.

    Even under the old description I have never seen an accidental offence cause a penalty try, so its probably a mute point.

    Assuming this is an adult game?
    At an uncontested scrum in RFU land (where you are) players cannot push, and the putting in team must win the ball.
    Other than that all other scrum laws still apply....

    If the ref "bottled it", then so did (presumably) the two AR's, both experienced (one more experienced than anyone else at the ground), and a very experienced TMO.
    Team of 4 worked together on these...
