[Junior] Re: Red and Yellow Cards at Youth Level

Yes to this but depends on your local expectations & regulations. What country are you in?

Also will depend on the level of the game. Experienced & skilled players may expect to get shorter shrift...

yeah, have a chat and get them to sort it.

If you really, really have to, you can always pull out law 9.7:

was the contact violent? Was the ball carrier trying to buy a further penalty? If it was an incidental bump I'd play on and make sure everyone knew that.

Have a look at this. Incident at 13:00 deemed scrum only. Incident at 17:30 PK & YC although trainer says scrum only. Interesting

[6N] Re: Wales v France - Did the ref bottle it?

If, during a tackle, you accidentally knock the ball forward out of the ball carrier's hands, that is a knock on with scrum feed to ball carrier's team. So logic tells me that if you do that...

[In-goal] Re: Double Movement and Mauls

remember too that a player can reach out to ground the ball for a try. What he can't do is propel himself. If penalised the secondary signal is the 'not releasing ball' signal

  10. [Law] Re: Folauís online comments have taken a turn for the worse.

its not an over-reaction. It is a deliberate twisting of the facts to suit their own agenda & gain notoriety. And to garner support from the gullible.

    Thanks for sharing.

That's what shits me about the militant left. Howls of outrage that their rights have been infringed when its as simple & sensible as that.

Is this the try in the 75th minute? TMO says "he never loses possession clearly".

Interesting one. I think Red #10 loses possession but ball is held into his chest by Blue #15. On field decision...

Re: 22 Drop Out - Not taken properly

what's interesting for me in this sceanario is the concept of 'intent'.

If the Red captain had intended to take the drop out then an opposition scrum would be justified.

    However it appears that...

Totally agree. As a bit of a tangent, what often happens in this situation (unfortunately) is Blue player then gets pinged for going off feet at breakdown.
