    You missed the point of what I was saying. Crossref said echo the TJs signal. If the kick is missed, there is no signal from the TJs, they simply keep their flags down. All the senior bods frown upon a TJ waving a flag for a missed kick as this is done in league. It is seen as 'bad form' for union.

    No. No wave, no dance, no whistle. Just turn and run back to the centre.

    The fact that that the whistle isn't blown and the hand isn't raised by the ref and the flags of the TJ/AR don't go up should be enough information.

    exactly stu. and the conversion whistle should be close to the try whistle. it's a score. if the try is not converted then it's a run back to the center only. no "wave".

    also, for god's sake don't whistle when acknowledging a kick at goal for a PK. just point and get your tj's there to watch. everyone will know it's a shot when the tee arrives and/or the kicker places the ball on the ground.

    Sometimes have to blow to wake the TJs up.
