Touch Rugby

Started playing Touch at a club in our region with a team of Refs.

I have to say the first game almost killed me, second and third was better, and I was fine by the fourth.

am doing this every week now during June, and then get subjected to mass torture by a former GB athlete for a few weeks.

Looking forward to it already!!

Interested to know Robert whether you use a referee!! Or do you manage without (or with everyone!)

Have found it in some ways more difficult to ref than conventional games...

Mike,

for the sevens we do use a referee, but not always a qualified one.

It's amazing to see how bad some referees are when playing, but I personally find it a refreshing insight to my game when said player (acting as ref) gets things wrong and we have to get on with the game.

Also gives the player a chance to see what we put up with.
