Think i read somewhere that if an attacker touches the ref with the ball in ingoal a try is scored,
correct or have i had too much seasonal winedrool:???????

you are correct. though I cannot find it in the good book to save my life...I know that one side must gain an advantage by the improper touching. (like barker at a strip club)

hypothetical question as it never worries me these days - no chance of me being in goal when a try is scored

Law 6.A.9 - The Ball Touching The Referee

(b) If either team gains an advantage in in-goal, if the ball is in possession of an attacking player the referee awards a try where the contact took place.

yea...found it...was too busy bending my boots trying to figure out how the arch support/heel cushion has anything to do with the flexibility of the sole.
