Real button mushroom weather but a good game nonetheless. Either I'm getting old or I have refereed in the coldest conditions I've ever known this last month or so. We had a minute's silence before kick off - I nearly went into a coma.

Didn't wear gloves or long sleeved under top because I'm from the North!
I have been wearing my skiing trousers on the sidelines the past couple of weekends. Ideal - and I was just about to get rid of them, since my knees will no longer let me ski.

I've had Frogg Toggs since they first came out. They're made of Tyvek. Wind proof, rain proof, ultra light and can squeeze down to almost nothing to fit in your kit bag.

Best for low activity (fishing or coaching) as they retain heat. They didn't take kindly to heavy farm work either.

37°C here at the moment which is a bit too hot. Cool change coming through soon with expected overnight low of 18°C.

    Not much rugby happening though
