I just spent an afternoon, in 95' plus heat, on artificial pitch, coaching an U23 team.

You sound like my late father-in-law who always expressed warm temperatures in Fahrenheit and cold ones in Celsius....

    Brrrrrrrr it's 22 degrees......

Training in 25°F is why I have always turned a blind eye to mini/midi/maxis wearing leggings.

Lowlands derby: Oemoemenoe (NL) v Dendermonde (Bel).

And yes, that really is the name of the club!

This weekend 1st League game of the season:-

    Yorkshire 2 - Level 8

    Pontefract v Goole

Ponte - top half last year. Goole promoted from Y3 and fresh from a Twickenham victory - last May.

First League game of the season - East Mids 1

    Huntingdon -v- Peterborough.

Huntingdon lower mid-table last year and Peterborough newly promoted, but by all accounts have received some 'investment' that has attracted some new players.

Slight con-up with the appointment in that Huntingdon Racecourse is hosting a Dog-Show and Peterborough hired out their club-house for a wedding reception having seen their first League fixture was an away game. So, we are playing on the fields of Hinchingbrooke School - which despite its appearance is a state school!

Pre-season card count is 1 red and 3 yellows; let's hope that we don't add to the tally today

    This weekend.

    Ding Ding seconds out..

    Yorkshire 2 - Level 8

    Barnsley v Wath-upon-Dearne

Both teams won away last weekend so must be hopeful of another good result. Wath have to play away until the cricket frees up their pitch.

    Stowe School -v- Marlborough College

Two things for sure, it will be of a higher standard than last week and a lot quicker (assuming it stays dry)!
