Two things for sure, it will be of a higher standard than last week and a lot quicker (assuming it stays dry)!
Marlborough College alta mater of Chris de Burgh and Mark Reckless - say no more!

... and just down the road from St John's School, the state secondary.

Not so long ago allegedly St John's results were better than MC (maybe at GCSE or so). The headteacher allegedly began his parents' "welcome to the school" speech with

"Congratulations on selecting St John's for your child's education. You have just saved ú30,000 a year" (or whatever price).

    Probably anecdotal. Still funny :-)

Allegedly the provision of high class drugs is much better in Marlborough than surrounding towns...

Yes, very exclusive private members club. You have to have served your country to join.....and even better still, not have been an officer

Slumming in Waterloo again Phil ?

I walk past twice a day on way to and from my offices and have bumped into the occasional ex-Services refereeing colleague in the street there, and usually straight into the Wellington for a pint.

Haha, yes. Perfect location a 10 minute walk from Westminster Bridge. Where else can you get a double room in Central London with private bar, restaurant and parking for under ú100!
