    Default haka

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hB4PMYFAJco

If you turn the sound down and play "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" in the background, this is rather good
I, for one, like Roman numerals

I think it is rather insensitive of you to make this comparison, all the more so since it is rare to see the ladies do the haka before rugby matches.

It is important to understand that the haka is not just a "war dance".

Also, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oKreL1jvkg is rather good, although it doesn't quite have the rhythm it should, for some reason.

Here's a more serious look at the Haka in Women's rugby: Stories of Haka and Women’s Rugby in Aotearoa New Zealand: Weaving Identities and Ideologies Together

Why don't the Aussies perform a traditional Aboriginal war dance before their Test matches?

Because having a bunch of white people doing an Aboriginal war dance would be seen as racist due to the history of Australia.

New Zealanders show case Maori culture with their Haka, even though the majority of players tend to be white.

Football has had one for a while and I believe Rugby League may have adopted the idea.
Putting aboriginal culture to the fore, is a way of saying actions speak louder than words. Showing that the origins of your homeland are mega important to all her citizens rather than just paying lip service to cultural intégration of a minority. YMMV. I'd say racism is why has not happened, White dominated sport, not wanting to have any sort of retrospection. What past is past, we cannot change it; we can however look to building a better future together. Midnight Oil's hit touched on this.

The link you presented is for a war dance performed by an indigenous NRL team. Do you realize that an indigenous NRL all star team is discriminatory and racist?

So has racism not happened in this white dominated sport?

I think there's a rally in Charlottesville going on right now that's missing its prize idiot....Did you miss the flight?

    Guys... It's just a haka , it's a rugby tradition in nz .
You are over doing the analysis somewhat.

Flight? Shows your cosmopolitan (intended) ignorance. Airports screen for weapons, "rally" attendees don't fly and can't afford not to carpool. That way they can use HOV lane.

Yes good pt., but to be global and equitable we must be all inclusive. NZ competitors should be given equal time to promote good for their nation.

    USA can eat cheeseburgers
Canada can drink beer, and smoke cigs
    Scotland can wear kilts
England could sport toothbrushes and Crest
    Ireland could drink Guiness
France could ah whatever they do
    Sa could wear capri pants
Aus could send immigrants to an island
Argentina can hang political figures in effigy
Wales can yell WALES WALES WALES

I enjoyed the haka in post #1 much more than any before. In more ways than the obvious
