The truth does hurt sometimes Dickie.
We will see. Shiny sh!t sells. Twiggy will spend a lot of money keeping it shiny.
(I wonder how many of the 16000 tickets were given away??)

And I don't recall saying we were celebrating Brumbies 'success'?
ACT fans are fickle and will only go to games when their team is winning. I sat in the 5000 crowd last week - twas not much fun and it was a dire atmosphere.

Australian rugby adminsitration is broken. I doubt Twiggy's one man show is the saviour.

it doesn't hurt me ... I have no equity in WA rugby.

But I'm happy to give them a fair go & wish them all the best. Maybe jumping castles and fireworks are what is needed.

Some of us are glass half full-type people. I understand that glass half empty-type people exist too.
I, for one, like Roman numerals

Here is a link to the guardian story , which is much broader that WS rugby and makes some excellent points (imo)
Club rugby’s inability to sell itself calls for planning and innovation

I think it is naive to dismiss what's happening .. this might not take off , but something rather like it very well could

As I may have posted on another thread - or indeed another forum - Liberty media were talking about the things they were doing for the 'fans' at Grand prix.

Except by 'fan' they mean vicarious blow-ins who only wanted a day out with the kids.
The actual fanatics would be watching the support races - jst as the true rugby fan watches the 2nd XV but there are not enough of them to fill Twickenham
