I'm beyond caring. WRU haven't done community refereeing any favours here, shame on them, in my opinion they've
    a] under-banned him
b] failed to send a zero tolerance message
d] failed miserably in their responsibilities & duty of care to volunteer referees

i suspect the referee feels gagged by the veiled threat of future appointments!! .

i've no evidence for these thoughts, only gut feeling

    shame on the WRU

Do we know if any action was taken against other players? The report suggested other team members abused the referee as well, I would expect some form of ban for these players, and some action against the club as well.

Overall a poor reflection on the game. I don't know if this can be used as an example of increasing lack of respect for referees (I'm sure referees were attacked in the 'good' old days) but I do experience more dissent and borderline abuse these days.

    3-0 in the 78th?

I've only had that score once, back when I was in Hampshire

1985. Shirley Wanderers III Lost to Croydonaians II IIRC 3-0 on a FREEZING winter's day (january ?) - they kicked a PK in the last quarter. I can still see that PK kick in my mind's eye!

The Waterloo Ladies had a 0-0 result against Darlington MP this season in the teeth of Storm David.

Tottonians. That's where it was. Against, I think, Fareham Heathens. Dreadful day, dreadful game.

Some time ago, the RFU provided a series of spreadsheets for those like me who were organising Merit Tables of varying sizes.

When I got a 0-0 draw, I discovered that the spreadsheet would not recognise that as a score. To avoid having to deal with the various ways in which a cell can be "empty", I have always subsequently (two or three times) entered 0.1 - 0.1 because that is rounded to the nearest integer.
