    Thanks.

Watched 35 or so minutes. Very scrappy and ill disciplined game. Hard to see what the breakdown pks were but there were a lot!
Scrums were horrible and clearly white couldn't hold shape. Perhaps if anything I thought the cadence looked (couldn't hear) too fast and unsteady at eaxh stage...the soft pitch didnt help. I think you might have benefitted if you slowed the scrum cadence down and ensured steady at each stage. The regular collapses at/after 'set' tended to indicate the unsteadiness. Also it might have indicated that gap needed to close at the crouch? (Bring FR feet up and not overextended). The "hit" from red seemed a little ott. I'd be inclined to consider step in the tunnel and not let the 9 in to feed until i had that scrum steady.
    Just a thought.

No game last Saturday - frozen pitch (again) - it was postponed in December too.

This week someone is trying to tell me something.

    Level - God Knows - 11-15ish

Doncaster Phoenix III v Dinnington III

Dinnington III were playing in the first adult game I ever did in 2006.

I doubt it'll be on. Perhaps should've waited 'til it was confirmed before posting.

I had the only game in the county on a natural pitch this week. Hawcoat Park 2nds 17 -38 Aspull 2nds.
    Excellent game in perfect conditions.
Pitch inspection the day before was crusty at 9.00am perfect at 2.00pm
With the forecast exactly the same, we inspected at 9.00am Saturday and called it on.
Local knowledge goes a long way.

Got the call last night that I have been moved off my fixture

Have a tasty ZOO Sports Shield Div 1 fixture

    Ampthill 2nd -v- Cinderford 1st

Should be a fast challenging fixture

Surely Cinderford II - though still a cracking match.
Very odd, normally the 2nd XVs play alongside the 1sts and share the coach, but the 1st XV fixture is in Gloucestershire.
Assuming you are on the top pitch it is a long way from the club house.

You're correct that it is indeed Cinderford 2s. Can't find the result of the first leg anywhere, not even on the RFU website

I'm hoping we play on the pitch just by the clubhouse, but will take my hiking boots and oxygen just in case
