Conor Murray took over the conversion kicks in the second half, not unknown for him to do so, but still a sign Jonathan Sexton wasn’t on form. He was taken off 3 minutes from time:
Didn’t someone mention irrational anger as being symptomatic of concussion?
In relation to his form didn’t he also kick a 22DO directly to touch?

Yes he did. Quiz question - without checking the law book what are the options (I only know the answer as this happened to me for the first time in 5 years earlier this season and I didn't know all the options - it then happened again the very next game, I looked very knowledgable that time)

    Post match view from coach.
The 33-year-old was seen to kick a towel in frustration when he was eventually replaced by debutant Jack Carty.

"I think Johnny was a bit angry when he came off because he'd just been hit three times off the ball," said Schmidt.

"I'm not saying any of it was illegal. They were well-timed challenges, some of them. He gets that every week, but he felt a degree of frustration about that.

The Ireland coach was a lot cagier this week about HIA. He didn’t go so far as to say Bundie had failed his HIA. Rather despite the HiA going well, the medical staff didn’t feel he was well enough to return to play.

For anyone who has 20 minutes to listen to the man, he does put forward a good case.
Professional player, frustrated by amateurish refereeing. Three off the ball (lateish) hits to get 1 penalty. He no longer knows what to do to get the attention of the match referee, to say this is material. They are taking me out after I get the pass away to ensure I cannot do a wraparound and be involved in a second touch of the ball to break their line. Professional fouls have reached Rugby Union, how will the referees deal with the TVland problem?

They are either late and should be penalised or not. Lateish means it was legal.

I'm not sure what the issue is here, happens all the time in every game. Up to the referee to decide if the 'tackle' was legal or late and deal with it accordingly.

I think the issue is that - perhaps - there is a trend : referees are getting increasingly slack about this, and letting it go.

everyone gets steamed up about pro refs ignoring squint put ins, similarly we might get upset if they start to ignore late tackles.

    (hopefully more upset about that)
