Default WR Quiz - questionable ones #2

    What constitutes a maul?
A An opponent binds on to a ball carrier
B Two opponents bind on to a ball carrier
C An opponent binds on to a ball carrier, who is also bound on by a team mate
    WR answer C

But this is out of date: the opponent and the team mate no longer have to be bound on to the ball-carrier, specifically, any bound clump is a maul, ie one of them could be bound on to the other

Maul: A phase of play consisting of a ball-carrier and at least one player from each team, bound together and on their feet.

    And in the same section

What is the offside line for players not in a maul?
A 5 metres behind the hindmost foot at each side of the maul
B The hindmost foot at each side of the maul
C 10 metres behind the hindmost foot at each side of the maul
WR answer B - but while this normally true it's not alway true

    4. Each team has an offside line that runs parallel to the goal line through the maul participants’ hindmost foot that is nearest to that team’s goal line. If that foot is on or behind the goal line, the offside line for that team is the goal line.
