for me - Clear RCs to Green 2 and 4. RCs also to Black 6, 1, and another that no number shown (bearded bloke - didn't get # as only front on to camera).

See if temperament settles after issuing cards (taking time). If yes - play on but slow play when scrums are called. If tempers still heightened then abandon.

A clear whistle, then when that doesn't stop things stand well out of the way with my notebook and pencil out.

The second video on that tweety thing show how it started.
Black stand up in the scrum and green fall on top of them.
The black player on the floor under the green player grabs the green players face, and that's what starts Green swinging at him on the deck.

That vital bit on info was edited out of the main video at the top.

I suspect that was seen by the ref and why he RC those two, and put the rest down to handbags, but there were some pretty heavy handbags being swung and I think I would have had more than one off per side.

Looked to me as if green was driving up. Doesn’t change the outcome really

Black 1 should be cited for embarrassing punches thrown!
Seriously at least the ref looked calm and dealt with it in some way.
If that happened to me there is no way I could remember everything that happened so I'd have no chance of accurately filling in sending off forms for 5 or 6 players I doubt anyone could.
Has anyone here sent off that many players in one incident?

No ...I've not sent off more than one player in one incident.

This has come up before in this forum, but in just over 10 years of refereeing I have had only one sending off.

This appears to be way below what some here consider the norm!

    3.....this year.

    I average about 1 a year over 12 years.

3 in one game is my "best".

2 in one incident twice (see above).

I've sent off 3 from the same team in 5 games in the last 3 seasons.

On the plus side I am good at writing sending off reports.
