I'm sure there is a point being made here ... I just don't know what it is.

    Is it a convoluted round-the-houses argument to support a knock-on in-goal being a 22?
I, for one, like Roman numerals

had my first ever call for the 22 DO for knock-on from attacking team into in-goal from a muppet on the sideline (water runner). I figured he must either be pom - or reading this forum.

It's a topic we have discussed before.. when playing advantage after time expires does take account of the tactical advantage of simply having the game go on, or stop depending on what the team wants.
But it wasn't a great example when thought through

The last time I saw a 22m DO awarded it was by Nigel Owens ..

Tactical advantage to play the ball as they wished by kicking it.
