I would not YC post try celebrations that are not offensive.

What happened after the these is what should happen in such cases..... nothing! These are just a bit of fun - players harmlessly letting off some steam. If you believe they should be YC, then you are in serious need of a sense of humour transplant

Our ugly sister code has got it right... they celebrate the post try celebrations

The problem is that the ones in the soccer clip were almost all offensive. The NRL ones were basically OK though I do not think a player should be leaving the field and going into the stands. He could unwittingly get into a fight with an opposition drunk fan.

I don't agree that our sport needs excessive post try celebrations. Each to their own, but I hate sports people showing off.

I agree that some of those Soccer ones were offensive (after all, Soccer - go figure), but we generally don't see that in Rugby. However, since when is the "funky chicken" offensive?

Only ones I’m concerned with are ones that make my life more difficult, celebrate with your team mates, don’t wind up the opposition, all good

The sad thing is they are clearly told that taking off your shirt is a YC yet they complain when they get it.

Many seemingly innocent gestures can have a background especially between rival teams, a play on the teams nickname or something thats going on between clubs or in a particular city could easily set off fans.

They are told not to do it yet insist on sticking the knife in so to speak.
Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door !
