    I ratehr suspect they thought a 22 DO was too much of an advantage? However I wondered if they thought about changing who gets the put in to the scrum? ie 5m scrum defence

    50 22 is not going to make refereeing grass roots games any easier

    So, wih the 50:22 rule. Does the ball have to bounce in the 22 then go out or can it bounce before the 22 line, then go out inside the 22?

    That's what I thought. No doubt there will be some sideline "refs" saying differently.
