I'd heard there was some Catalunyans at your last meeting. I assume they were doing reciprocal exchanges a few weeks ago. I hope you didn't send any poor bugger to Hartlepool.

That went well! Players and coaches positive, encouraging feedback from the assessor and my coach and some good tips on how to improve at this level...

Next week off to Roosendaal for Bekaro (a fusion of Marines and citizens clubs) against Leiden Students.

i think we did actually, a bloody cold weekend too - and yes, an annual thing we do - yesterday I was sat in the sun pitch side, enjoying a beer post match - in December - today I’m scraping the car!

    Poor sod!

I'll bet he/she doesn't make a fuss about not going to Durham next year!

I remember doing the only game that was "on" in Durham years ago - early January - Hartlepool "Athletic" v Whitby

One discerning watcher questioned why I had been sent on a 200 mile round trip to do that "load of old shit" (sic)

    Hold the front page!!

    Reprieved.

    L7 - Yorkshire 1

    Old Brodleians (Halifax) v Pontefract

3 weeks ago never been to Brods in 12 years and I'm there again.

Brods 2nd from top, Ponte 2nd from bottom - hopefully calves recovered - Brods is muddy and has right slope on it.
