The instructions for the Kallax book shelves might be missing.

Furness v St. Benedicts Cumbria 1 a nice home town game. Last weeks colts game, carlisle v houghton was the best game I've reffed all season. Some great skills and pace on display,

    Interesting Cup Fixture.

    Peterborough 1st -v- Peterborough Lions

Some local 'history' so should make for a tense afternoon, especially as Lions will be relegated back to East Mids1 East at the end of the season - barring a miracle that will put the feeding of the 5000 into a postage stamp.

Waiting on a TO3 but not holding my breath.

Cracking game, finished 27-28 and only 3 - all for dangerous tackles. Home team kept the ball alive for an extra minutes at the end going for the win, before giving away a needless penalty at a breakdown!

This week is back to League Action - East Mids 1 (East)

    Old Northamptonians -v- Derby

5th plays 3rd, and ONs got thumped 55-31 on Derby's AGP. May be a bit different, but with ONs influential Captain out with a broken jaw it'll be an 'interesting' fixture.

DN3 (L9) Newton Aycliffe vs Redcar - Mid Table vs team who dropped down from DN2 last season, and near unbeaten this season. Two new teams for me again which I always enjoy, no pre-conceptions

I did Redcar when they were in D&N 1 - against Guisborough!

    That was fun!

Youth Cup on Saturday. Fast game on Wednesday in the BUCS. Did not do myself justice at times. Standard was at my top end. So plenty to address on the weekend.

I am being watched in consecutive games .. they must be going to either promote me or fire me.

No doubt my game will be entirely taken up by players knocking on all over the goal line, defending QTI from offside positions, shouting let him up, taking second one quickly, standing 4.5 metres behind the scrum, joining the lineout to become a lifter just as the ball is thrown, forming subtle TWOLs and failing to take quick taps properly ..
