Weekend off. THis month I had a game last saturday (another advisor - another law error from his post match discussion. Good report so I'm happy overall) Uni game last on the 5th and another on the 12th. Rest of the month off.

Nowhere - precisely zero games in West of Scotland this weekend.

Double header refereeing my local team home and away over the following two weekends. Always 'fun' doing that especially if they lose the first game

Spent yesterday afternoon doing Chesham 2 v Berkhamsted. Not a high skill game, but a management challenge... and got out my red card for the first time since 2009. A lovely evening of paperwork!

Storm Ciara has cancelled today’s girls U18 cup match.

    This Saturday

RFU Northern 2nd Teams Pilot League (whatever that is).

Sheffield Tigers II v Wharfedale II

Tigers - a bloody awful place to go in the Winter. Hopefully a bit warmer than of late.

Injury (Achilles) was ok last weekend but still affected by sore ankle and bad back. Kit bag half full of Diclophenac and Paracetamol.

Bugger! Just seen the weather forecast - Storm Dennis - 50mph wind and pissing down incessantly, all on a pitch going up into the Peak District with no trees for miles around.

Although as my wife pointed out as Storm Dennis is a man we'll have to sit through all the hype and he'll only last five minutes.

Hilversum 2 - 't Gooi 2 on Sunday, a local derby with a lot to play for at the top of the men's 2e klasse. Both have first teams that are in the top 4 in the country, and their last meeting ended 41-66. Should be fun!
