    No issue with expenses then?

It means I don't have to front for the rental car. Waiting on the adjuster to determine if I get to go car shopping again because of some dumbass focusing on his cig instead of the street light...

I am dreading my game on Saturday.....not because of the players, but because of the facilities.

Last refereed there about a year ago on the coldest day of the year, in wind, rain and snow.
Came off the pitch colder than I can ever remember (even colder than standing on the bridge wing of a destroyer in the Falklands!).

The changing room for the ref was a disabled toilet that hadn't been cleaned and the door didn't close or lock.
There was no heating and no hot water.

I couldn't do the buttons up on my shirt because my hands were so cold I had no feeling in them. Ended up just grabbing my kit and sitting in the car with the heater on full till my fingers thawed out. Then for the first time ever I just drove home without going into the clubhouse.

Weathers not looking great this weekend either

Finally getting the first run out of the spring - SLU High JV vs Notre Dame DLS JV. Best pitch set up I've seen, and it's at a rural boarding school surrounded by cornfields. Three well-maintained, full-size pitches, and the referees have their own changing facility complete with keyed lockers.

Unless it was a junior or ladies game, I'd be getting changed in the opposition's changing room.

BUCS game (a derby) Wednesday. A 20 minute cycle to the ground. Very good facilities but will cycle in kit.

Wednesday night = Cup Semi- Final with TO3.
    Northampton Casuals -v- Old Northamptonians
(L7 plays L6 - with a few competition rule balancers - in a very local derby!)

Saturday = East Mids 1 clash

    Oundle -v- Market Harborough

2nd plays 8th. Last time they met Oundle won by 6.

The only doubt on the fixture will be the state of the ground. Oundle's home fixture last weekend had to played at Thorney.

    This weekend.

    Yorkshire 1 L7

    Selby v Old Brodleians (again)

    7th v top

Brods looking like champions only one loss all season (2 draws) - 9 pts clear of 2nd, 16 pts clear of 3rd with 30pts max available. 2nd gets a playoff with Durham and Northumberland runner up.

Selby settling for mid table obscurity although 7 pts covers 7th to 12th

Punditry aside. Does Martin Johnson still play for Market Harborough?

Not for the 1st team; not does he have a coaching involvement. I can ask the question if you'd like
