I think I can wear the red RFU tracksuit thing and some RFU trackie bottoms. That'll cover a multitude of sins (and shirts and leggings etc.)

Weather looks warmer than of late, 10 degrees C and a slight breeze . Best I can expect given the time of year. There was a almost a foot of snow there last weekend.

After the charity match finished in an honourable draw and £2,500 raised, this weekend is the annual act of tomfoolery that is our Overs/Unders match. Always a chuckle!

First appointment of the New Year, and I'm on the road.

    Midlands 1 West clash

    Droitwich -v- Hereford

Know nothing of either Club other than League standing - Droitwich lower part of the table but safe from relegation (barring a major disaster) and Hereford in the top part of the table but unable to catch the top teams.

No appointment this weekend, but I'm make my return to playing the round ball sport on Sunday. The team I played for at the start of the season has asked me to re-sign. I will duly put pen to paper this evening. Might have a signing fee of a Pint (pub team lol)

Nothing this weekend, gives me another 7 days to not go to the gym in preparation for my next game, the first time I will have refereed my local team (closest to where I live) away from home. 2 teams I’ve not refereed yet this year, so a coach clean slate for once (unless they have long memories of my previous games )

Late starter this decade with my first run out Ryton vs Blyth (DN2 Level 8) table and results suggest a solid home win - this will be my third L8 game in recent months so hoping to justify a grade bump soon

A rare youth game for me Carlisle colts v Houghton colts in a cup game.
Bonus is my old club is also playing there so I'll be able to go on the bus and have a few beers!
