Did Buckingham v Windsor yesterday; both teams promoted together into South West 1 East. Belting game (5 tries to 3), but 25░ made it hot work!

Spoke too soon - while 20 minutes into my drive to the match, got a call from the match secretary, the pitch was waterlogged and the school cancelled all activities.

This week - NW Woodsmen @ Peoria (Men's D3 League). I expect a hard-hitting game and for the forwards to be more involved now that we're starting to get past summer 7s weather.

DN3 (L9) Seaham vs Wallsend - Both new clubs to me and first assessment of the season. Man flu struck yesterday, thanks kids :-(

(I also have my club Vets game Friday night, my sons U13 game Sunday morning, and a U15 girls cup game Sunday afternoon as a favour - confident the man flu will clear at some point!)

Only as far south as Salisbury (Bishop Wordsworth Sch v Seaford) followed by a drive north to Melksham. I could find out who will be there (from WTR).
Be reasonable - do it my way.

Not this weekend and not me.

I just thought I'd plug (another) proud Dad moment.

This Wednesday evening, 2nd October, LLP junior referees the culmination of 2019 Leeds Varsity competition

University of Leeds v Leeds Beckett University - Men's 1st XV.

Men's 1st XV Rugby game is culmination of 68 fixtures between University of Leeds v Leeds Beckett University.

Games is at Headingley (home of Leeds Rhinos and next door to Cricket Ground) with its two rebuilt stands. Game should see a crowd of over 18,000 which is about 20x more than Yorkshire Carnegie get.

    This weekend I am at:-

    L7 Yorkshire 1

    Leodiensian (Leeds) v Bradford Salem

Leos (Leeds GS old boys as was) were promoted in 2nd place last year after about 30 years at L8. Last year Salem hung on to their Y1 status - just.

Fans of the Kaisers Chiefs (the Leeds band, not the SA football team) will recognise the mention of Leodiensian in "I predict a riot".

L9 (DN3) Houghton vs Hartlepool TDSOB - Assessor assigned again (didn’t happen last weekend) so fingers crossed I tick his boxes, my goal is L8 as my ‘normal’ assignment by end of the season
