Default Biggar on Itoje, Owens on Heinz

I've seen some online chatter by disgruntled England fans that Biggar should be cited for his tackle on Itoje, and Ken Ownes for his ruck entry which led to Heinz's HIA.

What do people think - is there anything in this, or is it just sour grapes?

Unfortunately I didn't watch the match in real time and can't find a decent replay, the best I can come up with are the links below.

the biggar one is discussed here

the citing officer will only cite RC offences - not YC

    Isn't that prejudging the incident?

I thought they could issue a reprimand that was equivalent to to a YC.

Not really the CO effectively accuses them of a RC offence and then a panel make a judgement. Citings can rejected

Yes, the Citing Commissioners Warning, equivalent to a post match YC.

Is this used in all competitions or just certain selected ones?

For the Ken Owens incident, the video is inconclusive for me, we would need other angles to make a determination.

It looks like his shoulder is tucked, so a dangerous charge into the ruck, but it is difficult to see where the contact was from the linked video.

    Bigger already being discussed elsewhere.

Owens Looks illegal but another angle required to determine the degree.

Sour grapes? Well yes and no.

I'm sure there will be other incidents worthy of another look some might be by English players.

However, Foul play has no place in the game. IF another angle shows Owens was guilty of a RC offence he should be banned.
