Default England Ireland was it a ruck

In the first half, England were on a very dynamic attack, and were getting well over the gain line. I thought that there was a ruck, and there were some lazy runners from Ireland (couldn't keep up). Ben Youngs was not able to make his first pass as players were off side, and then threw a pass into an Ireland player. Nigel did not ping for it, even though I thought it was clear his AR had called it. Any thoughts? If it was a 'new' ruck, with England standing over the ball, even though they were not in contact with an Ireland player, then the offside line goes across the field does it not?

Or the one where there had been no tackle? So no off-side lines.
Be reasonable - do it my way.

    I suspect it's this one.

Advantage (on Fbook) had it posted.

First question. Was an offside line formed?

Hint: White #13 offloads before he is brought to ground.

I suspect the Irish player thought he was offside, else he would have caught it ...

I am seeing this answer a lot .. but a tackle doesn't create offside lines .

    Offside lines come from
. A TWOL (player standing over the ball after a tackle)
. A ruck (which may or may not be preceded by a tackle)
    . A maul
