Williams was very good (not perfect, I was surprised at the dubious grounding try call/method), I didn't see Barnes. Otherwise I think there have been some shockers. Hopefully first-weekend nerves..?
I thought WB oozed competence and nervelessness
Thought Paul Williams was excellent, good control, good communication and, more importantly, got nearly every decision right. However - tiny niggle - I thought he was wrong in 'red time'. Last play, knock-on by Tonga - advantage - knock-on by England - English player in offside position plays the ball - penalty Tonga. I believe second knock should have meant no advantage to England therefore back to first knock resulting in scrum, thus 'no side'.
Instead there was the danger of England conceding a try.
Mr Williams was generally OK, but a tad naive on the collapsed maul when Tonga were moving towards the England goal line and the English player drove in and lo! it came down.

Low fives for them perhaps?
We all know the huge number of decisions to be made in a game (and non decisions, huge complaints in US right now about the number of penalties) so there will always be things to find a referee did wrong or you could interpret differently.
I throught Mr Williams had a superb game, and loved one of the commentators saying he was The best player in the field at one point. Mr Barnes was good to, he exudes authority.
How serious of an offense is this in your book?
