There'll be a long queue for the showers when the WRU update their guidance to incorporate all the genders the BBC recognise

I'm still playing some Veterans' Rugby, partly so I can have at least one senior fixture for our 3rd XV with my older son. He is now 17 and I asked about getting us both a fixture. I was basically told that the paperwork was v onerous, plus the changing, showering etc all made it a total pain. We are waiting until September next year to fulfil that particular ambition.

    FYI etc ...

I've had chat with "somebody" on our club committee and at the moment the club rules are that no player under the age of 18 will be selected to play senior rugby, so regards players it isn't an issue. There is a suspicion that in RFUland this will become standard policy - but I know no more than that possibility.

    Flagged for transphobia.
Mode, please can you deal with this appropriately?

You are welcome to come back - now a shower in the (small) ref's room. Fordingbridge are still an issue though. Just ask the coaches to keep the lads outside for 5-10 mins. Mind you, I decided to wait at Bournemouth recently, when the two colts teams over-flowed into the group showers at my end of the changing rooms. The water was still hot, naturally (for colts).

Clubs building new changing facilities supported by RFU e.g. Salisbury, Trowbridge, provide two Officials' changing rooms with integral showers, both large enough for ToT.
Be reasonable - do it my way.

Devizes has two oficials' changing rooms, with IIRC two showers in each.

Tier 1 problems. No issue here in the US of A, as there are no showers and no changing rooms at 99 % of fields.

I also would need toes to count the number of pitches I've been to where a port-a-john is sorely lacking!

I was merely pointing out that the WRU guidance may be out of date if they only recognise 2 genders (ie the use of the phrasing "opposite" genders). In many other parts of the UK there are many more than 2 genders however the BBC tops the list as far as I am aware by recognising 100 genders.
