    So nothing then. Fair enough.

The post in question was not transphobic, but veering towards the line.

I remind all members that one of our very early members was in fact a Transgender referee. No matter your views on the subject, if you feel that you really have to say something about it, please do so respectfully and mindful that other views are available and valid.

Personally.....my only interest in participating in the discussions/arguments and exchange of views/interpretations on this site is to advance my (struggle to develop ) development of myself and others as rugby referees.

Couldn't care less what others fancy in terms of food, drink or sexual options!

Why complicate the discussion so much?

It's a fair point though. In our brave new PC world, there are increasing numbers of incidents where someone who identifies as "gender diverse", needs to be accommodated.

    I agree.

I originally thought jz558's post was marginal, but less so with further clarification. It would have been preferable if the original post had been clearer,

My apologies, it was a clumsy effort at humor to raise a serious point. My Club is looking to redevelop the facilities so that each changing room has it's own separate shower facilities so that, for instance, the women's/girls teams can play matches at the same time as the mens/boys teams, currently not possible with one communal shower and a single corridor down the length of the facility. This isn't difficult, but does cost and won't be an option available to all clubs. It doesn't address all youth and gender related issues but it will be an improvement. This is a subject that won't become any less challenging for individual clubs and their mainly volunteer management.

I don't consider it a "PC" world, I consider an enlightened one.

PC is a nonsense term What is "Politically" correct to one person is not to another.

PC / snowflake etc are all terms used by, generally, unpleasant people who want to live in the dark ages.

That's quite a personal attack on other posters!
