Default summary of law changes, proposals and trials ?

    Hi All,

a chum has asked me if there is a online summary of law changes and law change proposals and trials - e.g. 50-22, increase scrum offside line to 10m, only 1 defender tackling, etc.

    does such a page exist?

AIUI there are no widespread trials happening in 2020 -- though no doubt there are some limited scope trials in odd tournaments

    anyone know more?

so the above exampels are all now dropped globally?

ie 50-22, increase scrum offside line to 10m, only 1 defender tackling, etc.

and the globe is playing the law book as writ?

TC, did you see any feedback on the NRC law trials? I saw nothing.
I, for one, like Roman numerals

I put the question out to my society and got a stony silence. Very strange. What's the point of a trial if it's not discussed afterwards.

Law trials create a new unknown in 2019
Surely they set a deadline for deciding which trialed laws to adopt? January in NRC land?

Earlier list of laws to be trailed

Given the NRC finished in October and Super Rugby starts in a few weeks its a bit late now.

There had been interim reports, only nobody kept us posted up this side of the Globe.

What do we make of the NRC law variations two weeks in?
Since I cannot navigate Southern Hemisphere rugby news all that well, I suspect there exists a wrap-up report from October. It’s just a question of finding, then posting it.
